Mount Academy families,

Happy New Year!

We look forward to opening The Mount Academy for in-person classes as planned on Monday, January 4, 2021.

In the first weeks following the holidays, special vigilance will be needed from the school, students, and families to ensure all stay as safe and healthy as possible to allow in-person classes to continue in the school.

·         Please remember to complete the COVID Quick Screen assessment over the weekend before Monday, and notify the school of any questions you may have concerning holiday travel or other medical concerns.

·         If your child has documentation of a completed COVID case, and has been cleared from isolation by the local health department, please have your child bring a copy to the school nurse.

·         As an extra precaution, expect that your child will be tested for COVID by the school nurse on the first day of school after the Christmas break. Please contact the school it you have any questions about this.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again,

Mr. Paul Button

To all our Mount Academy Families,

Due to the rapid rise of Covid-19 cases in our area, as well as the forecasted possible snowstorm mid-week, The Mount Academy will start our Christmas holiday early starting today.  We are not aware of any new positive cases among the student body or staff, but this seems to be the most prudent decision for our entire school community and will help everyone have as happy and safe a Christmas as possible. To make it clear, we will not be continuing in-person classes or remote learning.  Enjoy your Christmas vacation and we look forward to seeing everyone back in-person on Monday, January 4th, 2021!

Be cheerful, support your families, and take good care of those around you.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
